Book an appointment
If you need to see your GP, then you can book an appointment by calling the surgery. Our appointments are booked at 10-minute intervals.
How to book an appointment
Lawn Medical Centre does not currently offer online booking of appointments.
To request a routine appointment, please call the surgery at any time between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm to make an appointment up to two weeks in advance. If your appointment is urgent, please call at 8:30am to arrange for a GP to see you on the same day.
Please use Pharmacy First for the seven conditions they are able to help with, without you needing to see a GP.
Triage System
Each morning one of our doctors will offer return triage calls to patients in order to ascertain whether their problem can be dealt with quickly over the telephone or whether they need to make an appointment to come in and see the GP or nurse. In some instances we may refer you to a community pharmacist who will call you back within 24 hours of the referral.
Our aim is to provide:
- Faster access to a GP for patients
- More convenient access
- Better use of time for our GPs and patients
- Ensure some appointments are available for patients with chronic complex illnesses
Please note that we will still be operating the same system for pre-bookable appointments and these can be available up to 2 weeks in advance for doctors and 4 weeks for nurses.
